Gmail Guide

Almost every other account you buy depends on an email inbox underneath it. That is why Gmail is the single most-traded category on any account marketplace: throwaway inboxes for sign-ups, aged inboxes for trust, and phone-verified inboxes for everything that refuses to work without one. Prices reflect that ladder. A fresh autoreg Gmail typically sells for pennies, a year-old aged account for a few dollars, and a genuinely old, clean, phone-verified Gmail with real history can go for ten dollars or more. The difference is not the letters after the @ — it is how Google's risk systems treat the account on first login.

The three kinds you'll see on the shelf

  • Fresh / autoreg. Created in bulk, hours or days old. Cheapest, and fine for one-off verifications. Expect them to be fragile: log in from a new country on day one and Google may ask for a phone number immediately.
  • Aged. Months to years old, often with real usage history. Much more stable for ad accounts, developer accounts and anything that gets security-checked. Age is the single biggest price driver.
  • PVA (phone-verified). Verified with a phone number at creation. Not the same as aged — a PVA can still be brand new. The phone makes recovery easier and passes stricter sign-up checks.

What to check before you buy

  • Age. Sellers list it; verify it in the account's security activity page after login. A 2019 account sold as "fresh" is a red flag, and a "2019 aged" account created last month is a scam.
  • Recovery email and phone. The delivery file should tell you whether a recovery email is included. If it is, change it immediately — the single most common way buyers lose accounts is the seller keeping the recovery email and pulling the account back weeks later.
  • 2FA status. Some sellers deliver with 2-step verification already on (you get backup codes); others deliver clean. Either is fine as long as the listing says which.
  • Region of creation. Matters less than people think, but if you will use the account for Google Ads or YouTube monetization, a US or EU account has real practical advantages.

Delivery formats, decoded

Most listings deliver a line like login:password or login:password:recovery_email. Premium sellers also include cookies (a JSON or text file of the browser session). Import the cookies and you log in without Google ever seeing a "new device" — the single biggest trick for keeping fresh accounts alive on day one. If your order includes cookies, use them within the first few hours; sessions expire.

Warranty expectations

Standard in this market is 12 to 72 hours from delivery for login problems — wrong password, account already disabled. After that the account is considered yours, because the seller cannot control what you do with it. Replacement (not refund) is the norm: you get a working account, not your money back. Always test the account inside the warranty window: log in, send yourself a test email, check the security activity page, and confirm no forwarding rule you didn't set exists under Settings → Forwarding.

Common scams and risks

  • Recovery swap-back. If you never change the recovery email, the seller can reclaim the account at any time. Always change it.
  • "Aged" accounts that are not. Check creation date yourself; it takes thirty seconds.
  • Bulk-login bans. Logging into 50 fresh Gmails from one IP in an hour will get most of them flagged. Warm them up gradually, or use proxies — this is the seller's fault in exactly zero percent of cases.

Buy from sellers who state age, region, recovery-email status and warranty length up front. The listings that hide all four are the ones that cause tickets.
